1 . Islamabad Housing Plans Standard
The plan standard stipulates that the proportion of land use
must be within the following range:
( A ) Houses not more than 55%
( B ) Not less than 8% open land / green area / park
( C ) roads not less than 26%
( D ) Cemetery not less than 2%
( E ) Commercial facilities and car parks not to exceed
5%
( F ) Public buildings such as schools and mosques, not less
than 4%

2 . Islamabad Residential Area Ordinance 2005 Introduction
In Islamabad, construction is permitted only for buildings
that meet the conditions outlined in the master plan / functional plan /
regulation / and land for development. Construction work must be consistent
with the zoning regulations and related building laws (Building Code 1963 ).
